Teens for America

Ways teens can help America

Education

Education is key when it comes to developing and helping all Americans. Here at Teens for America we value education greatly. Teens for America will host multiple informative zoom sessions where we have the space and safety to discuss current events. After each of these sessions we will plan on how best to help and become part of a movement, a political race or even attempt to create and push legislation. We will use all means necessary to affect change and that includes working with our families, schools and legislators. This format of education will ultimately have a ripple effect - if discussed enough between people, working towards making changes, or throwing our support behind a movement or politician, we will have a monumental impact on society.

Donating

Donating can have a significant impact on change. Donating can be calculated by money, but it can also be calculated by volunteer time. Thus, anything you are passionate about you should attempt to donate to, but, to be clear, it is never required.

Contacting local legislators

As teens most of us do not have the privilege to vote, but we do have a voice, a strong voice, that we can utilize. Contacting your local legislators can affect change in your local town/city even if you can’t vote. Organizing walks, raising money, knocking on doors, and making calls - whatever it takes, we as a collective can make a true change.
